New Traffic Pattern on Campus

Taking into account the growing safety concerns, there will be a new morning and afterschool traffic pattern as of January 1st. Working with the Tilton Police, Middle and High School Administration, parents, and school custodial staff the new traffic pattern will ease the confusion for parents dropping-off and picking-up their student.

There is now a designated High School drop-off and pick-up area located at the "Crescent" at the side front of the building off West Main Street. Parents will drop-off or pick-up their student and exit via West Main Street. Additionally, all students who drive to school will now enter from the West Main Street entrance near the Student Parking Lot and exit from the campus that way as well. Parents and students who drop-off or pick-up Middle School students may do so at the Middle School locations and exit by the Student Parking Lot via West Main Street. Your attention to this as well as respecting the designated bus lanes which are in effect from 7:00 am to 8:00 am and 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm is greatly appreciated.

Student safety is very important and following the new traffic pattern will assist us in ensuring our school is a safe environment for all. Please take a moment and review the new traffic pattern map. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Officer Luke Pinault, our School Resource Officer, at 286-4531 ex223.

NH Partners in Education

NH Partners in Education enhances and enriches the education of children through school volunteerism. A Blue Ribbon Award ceremony is held each year, which recognizes the extraordinary efforts of school volunteers for the achievements realized during the previous school year. Leaders from the educational community as well as state government leaders are expected to attend the award ceremony. We are pleased to announce that the High School has received this award. Members of the PTSO will attend the ceremony on Monday, October 26th. We thank you for all of your support!

OCTOBER - Parent Involvement in Education Month

Governor John Lynch has again proclaimed October as "Parent Involvement in Education Month" in NH. The proclamation celebrates the importance of parent engagement in the academic achievement of children and in the improvement of NH schools. This initiative has come about through collaboration between the Parent Information Center of NH (PIC) and the NH Department of Education.

All parents are encouraged to celebrate Parent Involvement in Education throughout the coming school year. You can support your child's education through simple things that can make a profound difference!
