WRSD Scholar Athletes

On Monday, February 4th (Girls) and Monday, February 11th (Boys) the NHIAA/NHADA held it's annual Scholar Athlete Awards Ceremony at the Capital Center for the Performing Arts in Concord.  Recipients of the award are seniors who have excelled in the classroom, competed in at least two varsity sports, and have been positive role models in the community.  Winnisquam Regional High School is proud to announce the following seniors as recipients of the award: Laura Mills, Jen O'Brien, and Katie Chapman, Rico Santamaria, Zach Lyford, Danny Rose, Ryan Hancock and Nick Sereni

NH Lions Cup Team Member

Senior Rico Santamaria and Coach Dutton recently attended a banquet preparing for the 2008 Lions Cup Soccer game against Vermont. This is a huge accomplishment for Rico as only 22 seniors make this team in the entire state of N.H.
Rico is the 4th player to make this team in the last 6 years and Winnisquam Soccer is very proud of this accomplishment. Both Rico and Coach Dutton will be helping the Lions organization to raise money to help children in N.H. that are less fortunate. The game will be played at Franklin Pierce College on July, 19th at 2:30. Good luck to Rico and Coach Dutton!
