Running Start is a joint higher
education initiative that allows high schools the
opportunity to collaborate with the Community College
System of New Hampshire (CCSNH) to offer college courses
to high school students for dual-credit. It began in 1999
with 7 classes and 30 registrants and has grown to 69
classes and 452 registrants in 2007–08 through Lakes
Region Community College.
In addition, this course meets the ICT Requirement for
graduation.
