WRSD STRATEGIC PLAN

The WRSD Strategic Planning Committee conducted 6 workshops from June through August 2007 in order to achieve the following outcome and produce the following deliverables.

Outcome -   To develop a 3 year Strategic Plan that includes a revised Mission and Vision statement for the District.

Deliverables -   A Strategic Plan document that contains the Mission, Vision, Goals and Objectives for the School District.  In addition, Goals and Objectives will be put into an Action Plan to track progress.

WRSD BEST PRACTICES
The Winnisquam Regional School district uses a method/technique known as "Best Practices" to manage and develop procedures that are standard and proven successful among organizations.  With the proper processes, checks, and testing, a desired outcome can be delivered with fewer problems and complications.  "Best Practices" can be defined as the most efficient and effective way of accomplishing a task, based on repeatable procedures that have proven themselves over time for people and organizations.  Two of these areas are: WRSD Facilities & Maintenance and WRSD Technology.
