The Southwick School is located in a pastoral setting on Zion Hill Road in Northfield, NH. The school offers an interdisciplinary approach to learning for 250 students in Grades 3-5. Southwick School is the continuation of the elementary program for students who attend Union Sanborn School. Learning is structured around center based activities, themes, and content areas. Art, music, physical education, computer activities, and library services are provided on a weekly basis. Fifth grade students are able to take instrument lessons and be members of the first year band. Southwick School staff and students have worked together to establish a very active Student Council. A total community effort brought about the design, fund raising, and completion of a wonderful playground. Enrichment activities are supported by a very active PTO.
