Welcome to Sanbornton Central School. We are a small neighborhood elementary school located in the town of Sanbornton, New Hampshire, which is in the central part of the state in the Lakes Region. We are a kindergarten through grade five school with approximately 200 students.

At Sanbornton Central School, we take great pride in our school. Our exceptional staff members have dedicated themselves to providing a nurturing learning environment for our students that focuses on intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development for all children. Students participate in art, music, computer lab, physical education, and library skills and services on a weekly basis.

Our staff and students use the Positive Behavioral Interventions model for student expectations and positive reinforcement. We focus on the 3 B's, which are Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe in and out of our learning community.

Sanbornton Central School has been awarded the Blue Ribbon School Volunteer Achievement Award for the 2008-2009 school year. This is the seventh year in a row the school has earned this award. This award is in recognition of our PTO's contribution to our school with their team of parent volunteers and is awarded by the New Hampshire Department of Education and the New Hampshire Partners in Education.

Our goal at Sanbornton Central School is to educate all students and to challenge and encourage our students to become responsible young citizens and life long learners.

We are proud of our school and close-knit community. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at 286-8223 or by e-mail at mlachapelle@wrsdsau59.org.
