Sanbornton Central School

Garden Project

This in an exciting time to be in the first grade at Sanbornton Central School!  The first grade classes have been selected to be the first to participate in a School Garden Project!

The children will begin with seed starting in the classroom and then in early June we will start planting in the garden.  The children are helping to select what to grow, and will be given instruction from local farmers on how to plant and maintain a garden.  We expect this to be a great learning experience and lots of fun.

Since most of the NH growing season occurs during summer vacation, we are asking parents if they are willing to help their children continue their participation over the summer.  We also welcome parent involvement in getting the garden started, harvesting etc.

Please complete the survey below to let us know how you would like your child and/or yourself to participate in the SCS School Garden Project.

Respectfully,
