Ant’s Journey

By Raven Howell

Scurry now,
No time to waste,
Hurry up,
I'm making haste.

I mount a blade,
Pass a clover,
Scale a rock,
Scramble over.

A little breeze,
A leafy stalk,
I sway, I climb,
No time to talk.

No time to stroll,
No time to slip,
I'm on my way
To the Popsicle drip
