Common Core State Standards
The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) is a U.S. education initiative to define and align the knowledge and skills students should have throughout the country in order to graduate from high school and be successful in entry-level credit bearing academic college courses or in workforce training programs. They are intended to be clear, rigorous and have been built upon the strengths of current state standards ensuring that all students are prepared to succeed in our global society.
