Environmental Science

This course is designed to illustrate the physical, chemical and biological processes that drive the natural environment, as well as to demonstrate human dependencies on those natural systems. The class focuses on the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability as well as human population growth and its effects on the natural world.  The development of new technologies to prevent further damage to land, air and water resources is also discussed.  Class meets every other day.
